About

South Main SOcial

South Main Social is a vinyl hi-fi listening bar, craft cocktail lounge, and globally inspired dining destination in downtown Greenville, just steps from Falls Park and the Peace Center Concert Hall.

Inspired by Japanese kissaten culture, where vinyl listening is treated as an intentional experience rather than background noise, the space is shaped by warm analog sound. Guest and in-house selectors shape the flow of music, curating vinyl sets that unfold through a carefully tuned vintage hi-fi system.

Where

Music & Hopitality Meet

South Main Social reflects the convergence of Conrad Hunter’s two careers. He began performing at 14, trained at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, and spent decades as a professional musician before a bottle of Bordeaux redirected his path toward hospitality. That shift led to the founding of Foxcroft Food & Wine in 2004, which grew into a respected multi-location enterprise. South Main Social brings both chapters of Hunter’s life together, blending music, food, and atmosphere into one unified concept.

Craft Cocktails

Bathed in Hi-fi

Alongside Hunter, Stefan Huebner of Charlotte’s acclaimed Dot Dot Dot leads a beverage program centered on craftsmanship, precision, and layered flavor. Huebner is an award-winning mixologist, with decades of experience behind the bar. Culinary Director Stephanie Klos leads a menu that draws heavily on Asian flavors while grounding each dish in familiar, approachable formats. The result is a space that feels both transportive and grounded, where hospitality unfolds at a slower pace and each element is meant to complement the next.
